Energy Savings
Give devices nights and weekends off and save big
Viewed individually, plug and hardwired loads may seem small; however, these loads represent the largest end use of electricity in many commercial buildings, accounting for over one third of electricity used.
Unfortunately, almost half of this energy usage is wasted because it occurs nights and weekends when buildings are unoccupied and devices are sitting idle in standby mode. Bert eliminates standby, also known as overnight loads, by automatically powering devices off when the building is empty.
Savings vary by project, but typically range between 35 and 50 percent.
How much do you spend powering empty buildings? Probably more than you think.
Give BERT the building types, square footages and kWh rates for your buildings and we’ll generate a preliminary savings estimate using device density factors and standby power values from similar projects.
